I don’t think a person’s sexual preference should enter into his or her qualification for SCOTUS, any more than his or her actual sex does.
And I’d hate to see any group or person attempt to raise it as an issue.
Besides, who says this would be breaking any new ground?

Oh I agree completely, but there’s chatter that this could be an issue. I just think it would be crazy if in the Senate, the debate came down to it.
