This news truly saddens me. I’m originally from Detroit, been gone 54 years, and remember it was far different.

I was born in 1952 and grew up in Kalamazoo…Detroit in those decades was the 4th largest city in the country and a major economic powerhouse…it’s shocking what has happened and will keep sociologists busy for years
