I haven’t done a lot of research into this, but Utah has 5 refineries that could probably handle this oil. I suspect there are States closer to the Canadian border than Texas that also have refineries as well. But then again, they don’t have access to blue water ports to ship the refined product over seas where the money is. And that is the crux of the matter.

We have a frikkin upgrader here in Sask. We should be refining it and then shipping it.
