Having gone through college myself, and now helping my oldest determine where he’s going to college, that’s not what college degrees offer. You pretty much pick one or two things. You are not going to be trained to be more civic in a college setting. For that matter, though, I can’t think of any time where a large number of people were trained to be civic minded.
