Hasn’t the Red Cross said like nine million times that in big disasters that it
is nearly impossible to deliver donated canned goods and food brought in from outside the disaster region? If the roads are flooded or strewn with mud and debris,the cleanup crew would be the only people allowed on the roads along with medical personnel. Right? So why not just collect money for the Red Cross who happens to know what the hell they’re doing?

I get wanting to help,but wouldn’t it be nice to like,ask the people in need what they actually NEED?
