No offense to her, but you really have to work to see similarities between 2016 and now. You basically have to dream up fantastical visions of Trump and his army of willing henchmen managing to pull off a coup without being caught or so blatantly violating the law that there’s no way the public would ever accept his win as legitimate.

And if SCOTUS repeats their role from 2000 but on a much grander scale? It doesn’t matter if more than half the public doesn’t share that view. The Supremes rule, and what options do we have? Now, if the numbers are overwhelming on Tuesday night, it’s unlikely they will intervene. But what if victory depends on mail-in votes not counted until after Tuesday night? Especially when those same votes could replace GOP Senators? How may Republicans in Washington will stand up for what’s right? The number is 0.
