My point is merely that employment statistics for Gaza do not tell the story of what is required. Gaza has near 40% unemployment. But they live far better in Gaza than they do in other places with similar unemployment (like Haiti). There is plenty of aid being delivered to Gazans on daily basis through Israel. Certainly enough. There is not a shortage of food aid to Gaza, nor of medicine. What Gaza requires is an economy. So unless the flotilla is bringing jobs, it is merely a stunt. Gaza requires an economy, and they will not have one until they decide that building a civil society is more important than trying to kill Israelis.
