Which means that they either have to strengthen the legs (increase lift mass and decrease payload) or give up trying to touch down at sea.
Perhaps they would be better off with a launch facility at White Sands and re overnight on land?
Don’t think landing on the barge is in and of itself the problem. If the legs are buckling under the stress of landing on the barge, they would probably do so on land. Wonder what material they are using for the legs.
