I recently finished Kenneth W. Harl’s one on The Vikings and sent it off to my sister’s as they were visiting her husbad’s kin in Norway. What surprised me was how involved the Swedes were in founding Russia. Including the name “Russia” and the choice of religion. And that Norwegians were a major factor in why Scotland is Scottish.
