Romney is the most electable, that’s for damn sure. And yet as a Democrat, I still want him as the nominee. Perry and Bachmann are charismatic and oddly charming and charm always matters. Mitt Romney on the other hand is totally unlikeable. I don’t know anyone who actually likes the guy. I don’t mean they hate him, just nobody likes him, I want the GOP to have a nominee that no one really feels passionate about. I want the used-care salesman/game show host.

I want Romney as the nominee because it’s possible the economy may tank so bad and so hard that Obama can’t win, even against loon. If that happens, God help us if one of the loons becomes the Republican nominee.
