Anybody who thinks their AR-15 is going to be of use in an armed insurrection against the gubmint, I have two words:

Helicopter.
Gunships.

Go look at the Youtube war porn vids of what happens when somebody shoots a rifle at an Apache. Hint: the dents in your pickup from 30mm cannon fire don’t exactly “buff right out.”

One more word: Drones.

These armchair warriors who think that buying up an arsenal of guns is somehow going to put them on the same level of firepower as the gubmint are in for a rude awakening when they open fire.

RWNJs who go for this fantasy are banking on the scenario that happened in the beginning of the Civil War, where a great many Southerners who were in the US armed forces, officers and enlisted alike (but most importantly, the officers), went to the Confederate armed forces, taking their arms and materiel with them.

Let’s not mince words here: these people are calling for open, armed insurrection against the US government and for members of the US military to betray their oaths (and duties to serve their country) and commit treason and sedition.

They are willing to destroy America to “save” it (and recreate it in their image).
