I read that, and was appalled, even considering the source. Almost looks like she drew the short straw and had to write something pro-BK/LG. So I decided to look at the comments, to get a sense of what the other side thought. To my surprise, they were universally against her take.

You have to reflect on the Post readership: they are primarily Democrats or liberals. So it isn’t surprising that the comments were opposed to her views. I remember occasionally reading her column in the Chicago Tribune during the Clinton years and being irritated with her hard-right positions, though she would sometimes surprise you.

At least Jen, the other conservative columnist, has seen the light.
