Power Walking in a mall can be dangerous. An elderly couple were in front of me — I said “on your left.” They ignored me. I said it again, “on your left.” They ignored me. As I passed them, with inches to spare from scraping the wall — I said, “when someone says ‘on your left’ that means that they are going to pass on your left and you should move to the right.”
The elderly man then screeched at me “I don’t need you to tell me what to do, smarta** I’ll take you outside and clean your clock!”
Moral: Beware elderly people with canes.

He just thought you were trying to pick a political fight.
“On your left? Ha! I’ll give you an on your left! Young lefty punk!”
