Conservative racism is just so casual that it doesn’t even really shock me anymore. As for Obama “arbitrarily” renaming it. What about the prospector who named it McKinley in teh first place, the guy who had zero ties to the area. The Obama administration in particular the Interior department is merely giving it back its name that people in the area have been using for generations. “Denali” actually is a word that has tie to the areas. McKinley was just a presidential candidate who some prospector happened to want to win since the prospector was a big gold standard guy.

yeah, I just learned that today. I always just kind of assumed they named it after McKinley when he was assassinated.
