Basically this community education organization from that part of town recruits through our school for us to go down there to teach the kids language arts, Math, and art while they’re not in school.

Apart from being a graduation requirement, it’s also the law that college kids like me have to volunteer for a certain amount of time (or volunteer for the ROTC, which my college does not offer.)
