I find this statement to be interesting…

It’s a bastardization of Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Either these folk have really poor comprehension skills, or else they are being deliberately obtuse. Their exegesis on this passage enables them to claim just about any “revelation” that their leaders need to foster on the membership, at any given time, for any newly contrived purpose.

Someone(s) know what they are doing, but I suspect there the general “membership” are like sheep.
