I just realized the positive side of the 47% comment.

Since 47% of the American public are freeloaders that don’t pay taxes and would never vote for Romney, that means that Obama only needs to get 8% of the taxpayers (or another 4% of the entire citizenry) to vote for him and he wins the popular vote.

No way that doesn’t happen - so by Romney’s own logic he is done.

Unfortunately a lot of Repubs and right-leaning indies have grown comfortable voting against their own economic interests. Then again, it would only take a percent or two of these voters to switch to Obama and strengthen his reelection chances considerably.
