I also remember watching Stalag 17 with my dad…just recently watched it with my son and he enjoyed it every bit as much as I did. William Holden is the baddest-assed prisoner of all those movies

It always amuses me to no end how the producers of Hogan’s Heroes basically took Stalag 17 as their starting point and then plopped the insanity of a commando operation run from the camp on top of it.
