Very standard jury instructions… Manafort didn’t have to take the stand and the like.

The judge was in the prosecutors “side” for the three motions today.

Closing arguments was all about documents. And manafort’s emails that he sent/received. yes gates was a shithead and he stole money from Manafort but it was unreported dirty money. They did a good close.

The closing for the defense was, IMHO, pretty lame.

WaPo has the whole day (Google Manafort day 12 and it’ll come right up).

I appreciate you and fern01 digging this up, but it sounds like locking the barn door etc. The jury can’t unhear the judge’s prejudicial remarks. This guy is completely incompetent—at best.
