It wasn’t the people who voted in 2016, it was the people who *didn’t* vote. It’s all about turnout. As much as we blamed Jill Stein and Johnson, the problem was the GOTV push by the Dem National Committee was woefully inadequate. They thought they had it in the bag. They fucked the dog. Did the Russians help? Hell, yes. But they still fucked the dog.

I worked for Hillary’s campaign, and we spent the last week calling Michigan. Can’t speak for the DNC.
