Someone explain to me like I’m a child how a defederated Mastodon instance, in this case Twoof Soshul, can have a market cap of like $8 billion on NASDAQ. It just… doesn’t seem above board. A fool and their money, etc. etc.

Or it’s a real nice way for the Saudis and a bunch of oligarchs to launder a big pile of money.
