Why isn’t Obama getting more flack for nominating Freeman? When George Bush floated stinky nominations (Harriet Meyers, for example), everybody was all over it, talking about how it reflected poorly on the president, how it damaged his reputation, etc.

But Freeman is more than a stinky nomination. The guy is a totalitarian-loving dirtbag. So why isn’t this reflecting poorly on Obama? Is it only due to the fact that the MSM is still trying to protect the Big O? Or is he really a “teflon” president?

Any theories would be appreciated.
