Little Green Loquats?

Anyway, I’ve got loquats on the mind. Today I picked some from a different tree, which was loaded with hundreds upon hundreds of them. These were a bit smaller, and are very ripe. Very sweet and juicy.

For all you living in SoCal, at least the foothills, check out your local loquat bush/tree this week - it’s the time to pick them. They should be just slightly soft to the touch, and yellowish, for ripeness.

I love loquats. My local Asian market carries them, I don’t think they’ll grow around here.
