Tonight’s speech would be a good opportunity for President Obama is instigate a reduction in pesticide usage up and down the Mississippi review, in all the surrounding farmlands and plantable areas that drains into the river. This would reduce the effect that pesticides have on the wildlife in the basin area. It’s bad enough that the animals will have to now deal with oil on top of all the stuff that has been coming their way for years.

President Obama should mandate less pesticide use and the federal government should set up a farmers market agency which could help develop farmers markets up and down the Mississippi area, where people could buy food fresh from the farms, sans pesticides and other chemicals.

That’s what President Obama should highlight in his speech tonight.
