There is a Costco in the area. They aren’t hiring right now. I’ve been looking and sending him job openings since the week after he started this job. He’s been sending his resume anywhere he can think of. I’ve been putting in applications for months, I can’t even get a call back. A 20 yr gap in employment to be “just a Mom” doesn’t count for much I guess. Even the freaking school system, non teaching positions, like lunchroom monitor or after school program assistant, I can’t get a call back.

We’re hanging in there, something has to give at some point. I just hope it’s not by husband’s health. What the fuck is wrong with people?

Does he have C# or SQL skills? We need a programmer up here in Dearborn.
