The only reason Trump was kept on after the incessant TOS violations and warnings was because of eyeballs and stock price.

Had Trump been Joe Q Public, he would have been banned after the first of his thousands of misinformation claims - any of those around the pandemic for instance.

Now, that he’s gone, Twitter is still worried? Fuck ‘em. This was the right decision and the proper one considering the TOS. If you’re not going to enforce the TOS then why have it at all. That’s actually far worse. People want a social media platform where there’s some semblance of safety and moderation around extremist/criminal conduct and things beyond the pale.
