There’s probably stats somewhere on what the long-term health issues are for produce pickers. My bet is that back and joint arthritis is right up there.

I do recall reading about serious kidney problems involving agricultural workers in Central America who are not allowed to drink sufficient fluids while doing manual labor in the hot sun.
