When I was at the oil change place today, CNN had a Carson story on. I was sighing and rolling my eyes, and there was a guy there scrolling through his phone ignoring it all. Then he looked up at the TV and got that “I can’t believe this shit” look on his face. He kind of side-eyed me, briefly nodding and smiling, in agreement that Carson’s some crazy shit.

Down here is South by dog Carolina, people are very careful about publicly dissing a Republican, but the guy and I had a “moment” where the insanity was just too much.

Off to Rock Hill tomorrow for the Dem Candidate forum with Rachel Maddow as the moderator. Should be fun. Then, Saturday, Dem Women’s conference with Bernie as keynote. Some of my peeps have become rabid Berniacs, but…speaking of Bernie—today’s South by dog Carolina Dem polling shows Hillary WAY ahead—like 71% to 15% for Bernie (and poor Martin at about 5%). She led by a lot in every category—pretty big change from 2008 when she only carried 1 county in the primary.

Mrs Deb and I are in Montgomery on Sat with some of our locals Dems for training and a lunch speech by Carville. A Bernie rep might be there also. Time to get the old band together.
