Yes.

KT has a point about the knee-jerk reaction some of us (I include me) have to the notion of suicide. I can grit my teeth, and make myself admit that a terminally ill person has (arguably) the right to shorten his or her suffering.

But the notion that suicide is otherwise acceptable - and assisted suicide in particular - just raises the hair on the back of my neck.
