Strong-arm the manufacturers and developers of technology gains in order to gain market access. Then a few years down the road, produce a competing product using the knowledge against the same manufacturers.

I thought I read earlier in this thread some mentioning the Chinese in a glowing light in regards to them having a “can do” attitude similar to America past…

To be fair, China is simply acting in its own interest, which is what all countries do. If we keep shoveling money to China, this kind of thing is inevitable (in fact, it’s probably inevitable regardless of what we do).
