When I told some of my students about Trump’s adventures as a would-be casino magnate, they simply couldn’t believe that anyone……anyone….could bankrupt a casino. The common view, here at least, is that owning a casino is a like having an ATM machine in your bedroom that spits out money 24/7.

He didn’t bankrupt a casino.

He went bankrupt with his casinos six times. 6 times (but three occurred in such close proximity to each other that they’re often considered one time).
