I wanted to thank you for the conversation last night.

I made a big lifestyle change at my dad’s funeral. I am on a healthy eating program (I don’t call it a “diet”) and I joined the JCC, hopefully I can swim twice or three times a week.

And the biggest lifestyle change of all: A NEW JOB!

I will still post pie recipes on my blog, but I can’t eat a bunch of pie. Same for the homemade bread. That was like a drug for me. I was baking bread because the smell gets me high.

I’m baking bread today because, well, it’s Thanksgiving, but even if I only use whole grains and stuff, you just eat more of the home baked stuff. Because it gets you high.
