re: #190 Big Beautiful Door

Here’s an idea, just have the candidates pick a topic they want to talk about, give them two minutes, them let them challenge one of the others to address the same issue for two minutes, let the first guy respond, then give each of the others a minute or so to put their two cents in. Then they can quit whining about the media and talk to the people about the issues they think are important. Give random audience members and the viewing audience a chance to ask questions as well.

They’ve tried having audience members and online tweeters and youtubers ask questions. Didn’t seem to really move the ball down the court. The whole concept of “debates” has gone south—particularly on the GOP side—nobody really debates; nobody answers the actual question asked; there is no fact-checking or challenging the bogus bullshit they say (think of the OUTRAGE when Candy Crowley corrected Mitt) and, sadly, it doesn’t seem that anyone really give a flying fuck as long as their favorite moron gets screen time to spout ridiculous crap.

Wonder what kind of demands the eventual GOP clown candidate will make about the debates in the general? Or will they be like Kasich and others during their last campaigns, and flat out refuse to debate the Dem.
