We have a President who was elected with a record popular vote turnout and who should, if Congress were not so gerrymandered and over-weighted to the GOP, command a large enough majority to pass whatever legislation he presented.

And therein lies the problem. Our representation is based on geography, not population. There are more red states than blue states. The math just doesn’t work.
