Well…annexing it would solve that whole “illegal immigrant” problem, but I think the Mexicans might have a few objections.

Moreover, it would alter the political culture of the US greatly. Drop that many new states and that many additional voters into the mix and I don’t know what the fallout would be.

So sorry, Floral, but that idea is a non-starter. Americans would not want it and Mexicans would not want it.
