This theocon rage we’re seeing over abortion is, I propose, part of a general froth that has started to overflow due to the USSC rulings on Prop 8 and DOMA.

Hard religious conservatives are now using the “M” word - martyrdom. They really think that they are going into some horrible persecution. E.g.:

Teh Ghey has finally sent them over the edge.

I’m still trying to figure out how other people being able to engage in voluntary behavior they don’t approve of equals oppression.
