I know some of this is Trump’s fault, but even now, are American car companies so out of whack that they can’t keep a small car line?

America buys SUVs. That is the issue. Ford has already dropped many of their small cars for an almost all SUV line-up.

Watch what happens though when another economic mess leads to $5 a gallon gas. People will want those smaller cars and the Asian companies and VW will have them and kill in sales.
