I think the Nurse Practitioners, Mid-wives, Medical and Physician assistant programs will be full of candidates. We will have to be really sick or be high-risk to actually see a doctor.
I already see a lot of these professions take charge in the Chicago-area. So, far it has worked well for my visits. In the offices I visit, you can always see the doctor, but the wait for an appointment is longer. And, honestly, for a sinus infection or annual female exam, I don’t need to see the doctor.
My only concern is that it will be harder and harder to see an actual doctor.
