I stopped looking after 6 pages (I am supposed to be doing work right now.)
Many of the estimates seem inexplicably low, I didn’t check but at least several look like the estimate is lower than retail price for non-Walter Becker-owned.

Yeah, you’d pay more for that gear if you were buying it from the guy down the street.

But that seems to be the way auction houses roll. We went to the showing of David Gilmour’s collection the day before the auction, and I was eyeballing a lap steel guitar that they ‘estimated’ would go off for $1500. My wife even green-lighted the bid, but I didn’t bother.

Said lap steel ended up selling for $66K.
