After Wednesday they just might. It was like pre 9/11, everyone claimed no one could have known a hijacked plane could be a weapon (Tom Clancy tales notwithstanding), but afterwards everyone had to plan for it. One might claim that no one seriously thought a group would invade a Capitol building in an insurrection attempt, but now it must be first on everyone’s mind. Woe betide any state that doesn’t take major precautions against it anytime there is a right wing event.
