Well that certainly sucks, it is a shame to see iconic vintage automobiles destroyed like that. From the picture at the article it almost looks like there was no rebar in the one massive foundation footing shown that is snapped off clean.

Whatever that footing was supposed to be supporting it certainly isn’t now, so yeah, they need a structural engineer to evaluate the safety of the rest of that area of the building pronto. :(
