I really hate that she was wearing it. More than I can say. This smacks too much of those who insist that only Xians are the true Jews - it’s called “Replacement Theology”. Even if it’s not that, it’s pandering - it’s certainly prostituting my religion to serve her ends. & I would say this if Hillary Clinton (my candidate!) was doing it. Then again, Clinton never would, which is just one of the reasons I would vote for her :-)

It’s a mixed bag for me. On one hand, as a measure of solidarity, I think it’s nice, politics and my hatred for her aside. Is anyone actually wearing the Star? The Right goes on and on about loving Israel, but do they wear any Jewish symbols? The Israeli flag even? And this isn’t any old day. It’s Jerusalem Day when we took the old city.

On the other hand, Palin likes to do it up big. Remember you could see her American Flag pin from the space shuttle.

On the other hand, I tend to doubt her sincerity overall and don’t know if this is just another one of those times when she’s pandering.

On the other hand, I’m not offended.
