Aside from Morocco, none of those countries even begin to approach any form of democratic governance, and three are absolute monarchies. They do as they please, they have plenty of petrodollars to spend, and if their people dare to protest they get brutalized. Who’s going to stop them?

This cannot be repeated enough.

These self serving regimes act wholly on a broken agenda that does not benefit the populations.
