How much contact does Governor Brewer have with Arizona’s state employees? I have to wonder how many of these state employees with same-sex partners she personally knows. If she stopped to think about it (not necessarily something she would do), she might wonder if people she works with, or people whom they know, are state employees with same-sex partners.

I have no idea where Gov. Brewer works most of the time, or whom she interacts with from day to day, but it seems odd that she’s crusading against precisely those people whom she’s either likely to know personally, or people she knows are likely to know personally.
