I have a problem in the house with drosophila melanogaster. Apparently a piece of fruit has fallen somewhere behind my desk, because I now have a swarm of fruit flies. Could be worse, they don’t bite, they aren’t creepy, I remember having milk bottles full of them in high school biology, and breeding them to get my mutant breed of red-eyed dwarf winged fruitflies.
