Tell that to the poor suckers who need hip replacements and cataract surgeries in the UK now. The scary thing is that there are people in this country who think that model’s nirvana.

I happen to know someone here, a neighbor, who has serious health issues. Lost his job, no health insurance, too young for Medicare, no Medicaid in the state of Texas unless one is pregnant or officially disabled regardless of lack of income. No help, no access to medical care. Yeah, I think he would find access to health care pretty much nirvana, even if he had to wait a bit for it.
