Our huge numbers and tendency to group together would make the spread of either bug more efficient. The biggest threat to humans, other than ourselves, is the spread of deadly bacteria that is immune to our science or replicates too quickly to combat.

Bacteria can mutate at a scary rate, and virii adopts chunks of DNA from humans, animals, bacteria and other virii all too easily.

Oh well, then, bring on the clones.
