Jeebus! If Glenn didn’t have a t.v. show, if he was doing this on the street corner, he’d be thrown in the loony bin. What is it about the idiot-box that somehow conveys legitimacy to this kind of spastic insanity?

I say dump Beck, Springer, Reality TV, etc., and raise Alfred Hitchcock from the dead so we can have some watchable television again.

I’ve walked past a few sidewalk preachers spouting stuff just about as nutty as Beck. Nobody locks them up. The difference is that Beck has a much bigger audience and, gack, zanier views.

At the rate he’s going, this has to impress itself on even Fox’s mgt.
