Methinks you’re being a wee bit too kind. “Terminally stupid” works better for me. I mean, Gates has a neighbor who cared enough to be concerned, and to call the police. The police - not knowing what they might possibly be facing - come to protect this guy and his property.

And what do they get? Trashed, abused, and called racist by the very idiot they’re there to protect.

Gates gets no pass from me. None.
