Anyone who wants can pass out whatever literature they wish to legislative offices.
There are no restrictions on it. I think it’s silly to pass out Bibles the way they did, but it’s not illegal, as far as I know. I also think it’s silly to be so upset about it. If they’re Christian, they already have a Bible, it’s not like this is anything new to them. These are going into a drawer somewhere and nobody will look at them. And Kay seemed very specific that it was the Christian Bible that offended. Again, if they’re Christian they already have a copy of the Bible, it’s nothing new to them. Is Kay just generally offended that Christians are serving in the legislature?
